If
you want to see Allan & Gloria LaCoe smile, just ask them what
they love most about living on Hilton Head Island. Chances are they
would start out by talking about the fine weather or the miles of
Hilton Head Island's pristine beaches. Then they would mention the
warmth of the locals and how there’s such a family atmosphere
among the year-round residents. They will even tell you about all
the activities they enjoy on Hilton Head, from golfing to fishing

Making a Difference

This was one of the reasons Allan & Gloria co-founded a community
Thanksgiving dinner. They wanted to provide the opportunity for
Hilton Head area residents from all walks of life to bond during
this season of togetherness. |

local citizens but the turnout has nearly doubled each year of its
existence. |

Giving
Back
Due to their committed natures, though, this is really only the
beginning of Allan & Gloria’s dedication to giving back
to the Hilton Head Island area that means so much to them. They’re
also active volunteers for the local Boys & Girls Club and
are a hands-on part of several church outreach programs. These
include Stephen Ministry, a one-to-one care-giving program for
church members and the community, a Teen mentoring program, and
Camp Salkehatchie, which organizes youth and adults to rebuild
homes and hopes for the less fortunate. No matter the involvement,
Allan & Gloria are proud to be a part of such a dynamic Hilton
Head area community.
